Hi all.
I recently wrote off my beloved BMW 3 series coupe, and according to the insurance company my insurance had lapsed. I'm now looking to kill two birds with one stone so to speak, as being a lover of the old VW split screen camper vans, I'm looking to buy one and install the engine from my BMW. Does anyone know if this is possible, or if it has been done before? Any links or tips on this would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

>Hi.
Many years ago someone looking for a cheap campervan would go down to London's South bank, close to what is now the Tate Modern, where foreign travelers wishing to return home would sell there vans often complete with knives forks and half a box of Cornflakes. My question is does this still go on anywhere?

I have heard this story as well but can find no reference to it. Does anyone know if it still goes on and if so where, and when.

In response to Sam Philips' query - I bought a VW camper like that for £20. There was a row of camper vans parked, I believe, somewhere near New Zealand House, being sold by young travellers due to fly home. I drove it from there all the way to Scotland, and yes there were cornflakes and ketchup thrown in. But it was in 1977 and I don't know if it still goes on. Perhaps New Zealand or Australia House would know?

Hi
I want to tour Nova Scotia for three weeks in August (from Toronto) and would like to rent a campervan for that period. Is there anyone out there who'd like to rent theirs out? Alternatively, can anyone recommend a Campervan Club, if there is such a thing, in the Toronto area? Or even a good rental company specialising in campervans in Toronto?

Hi.
I just thought I'd tell you all that my much loved Fiat Ducato 14 Compass Drifter 404 was this morning stolen in broad daylight at approx 11 to 11.30 from our front drive!! It was dragged forward until they had enough room to break in to front cab and then towed away. No neighbours saw or heard anything but it was spotted by a friend (who didn't realise it was mine until later), being towed along the A10 , so be aware all. I've owned my Motorhome for eight great years and always left it secure and alarmed plus with immobiliser. If any sightings please ring police registration number is J241 FMV
Telephone 01992 634147
Thanks
