Hi

I have just the same problems.

It is not related to the age of the Hymer, though, but more to the age of the occupants attempting to get into the bed!! :)

If the Hymer is creaking and groaning, perhaps the occupants need to lose some weight! B)

But seriously, it sounds like it is due to movement in the mechanism, so perhaps some judicious lubrication of the joints is in order.

Hi Chris and Sue,

Welcome on board - Always fancied a Swift myself but when it came to the choice I got a better price with my Hymer! Maybe another day though.

Cheers

Hi David

Yep thats the one. Sorry, not sure why but we have always known it as Mortagne sur Mer, even our friends call it that (although admittedly they are not locals originally). Either way, its a great spot and I would definitely recommend it. And like you say, can you imagine having something like that in the UK!

Cheers

I don't know whether you found this link, but it may be worth reading:

It seems, from your symptoms, that the motherboard may need to be replaced. Probably easy and cheap, and not hard to source, I imagine.
