They are a small friendly club that was started in May 1996 by John Cockburn, when he bought out Richard Holdsworth Conversions. Although the new club was called the Cockburn Holdsworth Owners’ Club, most of the original members had bought Holdsworth ‘vans. Within 12 months Cockburn Holdsworth was absorbed into Autocruise CH, with John Cockburn as Managing Director. As no more ‘vans are being made under the Cockburn Holdsworth name, and as John Cockburn is no longer connected with the club, They have changed their name to the Holdsworth Owners’ Club. Many new members are now first time motorcaravanners, who have bought second hand Holdsworth or Cockburn Holdsworth ‘vans.

Many of the almost five thousand 21' and 24' American Clippers built between 1973 and 1980 by Irv Perch and the American Clipper Corporation still cruise the North American highways simply because the American Clippers were designed and built using excellent workmanship, materials and construction techniques. Manufactured in Carson and Downey Ca. from 1969 -1986, the APOLLO Motor home was... and IS a sturdy Motor home ; constructed of steel & fiberglass and built onto the chassis of a dodge or GM. with some models originally selling for over $180,000 (the "Sceptre" diesel Model) Many are still in use today and represent an excellent value in terms of features per dollar (especially when compared with the prices of motorhomes today!) They were the true "Highline" coach of their day with their trademark "Ring of Steel" and are still much sought after today! ……. In the mid Eighties, Allied Artists (Movie Studio) Bought The Apollo Motor home Company and some of the Movie Stars that Owned Apollo's included John Wayne, Bob Hope, Robert Goulet and many others
The Bay-State Good Sam-ers are a local chapter of the Good Sam Club, started in 1977 to encourage good fellowship and general social activities in their area. They are a small group of Happy Campers who RV together and have a great time.
Bounders United is an international RV club with over 2800 paid-up members of all ages throughout the world. Its stated purpose is to promote and facilitate the ownership and use for pleasure, of Bounder motorhomes.
The computer sams comprises a congenial group of Recreational Vehicle enthusiasts who are particularly adept at, or inquisitive about, the use of Personal Computers, and who enthusiastically enjoy sharing their knowledge (and problems) with other folks harboring the same interests. At about four meetings a year, they move their equipments into the campground's secure Recreation Room and spend from two days to a week demonstrating new equipment and software, trading ideas, teaching each other, and eating some great meals (Pot Luck or at nearby restaurants). These are the sorts of things which occupy their minds...
The IDMC is dedicated to supporting the Internet Discovery Motorhome Club. Anyone who owns a Fleetwood Discovery Motorhome is welcome to join the club and associated mailing list (idmc@DiscoveryRVClub.org).
